About Woytek and Bear Bronze Sculpture
Voytek was honored as a war hero after being rescued by the Polish infantry during World War II. Later he came to the Edinburgh Zoo where he lived a long time after the war. Later, make a statue of Wojtek and the bear to commemorate them.
